зануссиKrzysztof Zanussi

Film director, Producer (Poland)

One of the most successful Polish film directors, producers, professors.

In the years 1955-59 he studied physics at Warsaw University, in 1955-59 – philosophy at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Taking an active part in the amateur film movement he made 11 motion pictures, 9 of which gained various awards.

From 1971 to 1983 he was vice-chairman of the Polish Filmmakers Association. Since 1980 he has been running the TOR Film Studio – initially as its artistic director, subsequently in charge of the entire unit.  Mr. Zanussi is also a theater director staging productions in Milan, Palermo, Bonn, Cracow, Bremen, Basel, Syracuse, Kiev, Novosibirsk and Rome – to mention some major ones.

He was born in Lviv on December 2, 1971.

Olexandr graduated from the geological faculty of Lviv University with A-grade and finished postgraduate studies at the same institution.

In 1991 Olexandr Bohutskyy worked as the editor of the first independent Ukrainian radio station “Radio “Independence”. He was the co-founder of the newspaper “Express”, co-operated with editions like “Ratusha” and “Post-Postup”.

In 1994 he was appointed as the head of press-centre of JSC “Tavria games”, was TV-presenter of this festival. He has been working on television projects at the Television and Broadcasting Company “Bridge” (Lviv), Television and Broadcasting Company “Golden gate” (Kyiv), First National Channel; he was a TV-presenter at the leading analytical program “The Actual chamber” (STB TV-channel).

From 2000 he is a Director general of ICTV TV-channel.

In 2010 he defended a thesis, and got the scientific degree of candidate of legal sciences.
