Volodymyr Manzhosov

Volodymyr Manzhosov is a Chairman of the National Council since April 2010.

From August 2005 he was a Vice-president of the Broadcasting Company “Ukraine”. In 2005- 2010 – Member of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine, in 2001 -2005 – Representative of the National Council in Donetsk region. 1998-2001 – Director General to the Ltd “Publishing Commercial Concern “Prince”, Donetsk. October 1996 – December 1997 – Deputy Chief of the Central Administrative Board, then Chief of the Information Policy Department of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. Christian Hocepied

Company: European Commission (Belgium)

Position: Principal Expert in the Antitrust Media Unit of the Competition Directorate General

Christian Hocepied joined the European Commission in 1985, where he dealt with State aid, State Undertakings, Liberalisation and the application of the EU antitrust rules, including leading Commission inspection teams in company premises.

One of his main achievements was the drafting of the EU telecommunications liberalisation Directives that set the framework for EU telecom liberalization during the nineties. In the 1990ies, Christian was also responsible for the drafting of the Decisions which ensured the introduction of competition among GSM systems in Europe.

From 2006 onwards he focused on the design of the regulatory remedies necessary to foster the deployment of fast internet in the EU, which resulted in the September 2010 Commission Recommendation on regulated access to Next Generation Access.

Christian Hocepied has a master degree in Law from the University of Ghent (1980), an MBA from the Vlerick School voor Management (1981) and a master in sciences commerciales (HEC-St Louis Brussels – 1986).

Oleksandr Bohutskyi

Graduated the Geological Faculty of the Lviv University with honors and postgraduate studies at the same institution.

In 1991, Alexander Bogutskiy worked as an editor on the first independent Ukrainian radio station “Radio” Independence . “Was co-founder of the newspaper “Express” , has collaborated with publications “Town Hall” and “Post- progress.”

In 1994 , he headed the press center of JSC “Tavria Games” was and remains unchanged for the lead of the festival , which today is considered as one of the most successful and popular in the country. He worked on television projects for TK “Mist” (Lviv ), TC “Golden Gate” (Kiev), First National , was the leading current affairs program “Current Camera” (channel STB ) .

Since 2000 – the general director of the channel ICTV. Since then, just a few months the channel that was hopelessly in last place in the rankings and needed immediate resuscitation, went to the fourth step of popularity. The key to this progress, Alexander believes team -minded professionals, which afford to implement the most sophisticated television projects . Over the years the canal was not only the respect of viewers, but also official recognition – ICTV is a multiple winner of the All-Ukrainian and professional competitions, the government has numerous differences.

 

Yekaterina Lapshina

Before SCM she took the position of a senior consultant at the international auditing company Ernst & Young (March 2004 – August 2006), Deputy Director of Business Development at Energoprom Management (August 2006 – September 2008) and Investment Director and Junior Partner at Russian investment company Adela Holding Limited (November 2008 – August 2010).

At SCM Ms Lapshina is responsible for the development of SCM Group’s media business dealing with strategy, investment, finance and risk management. In addition, she represents SCM at the Supervisory Boards of the Group’s media assets.

In 2003 Yekaterina Lapshina received a Bachelor of Economics from the Institute of International Economic Relations (Moscow) and in 2005 graduated from the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation with a Master’s degree in Economics.

She is also a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) holder and a CFA Level 2 Candidate (Certified Financial Analyst).

 

Ross Biggam

Company: Association of Commercial Television in Europe (Belgium)

Position: Director General

After studying law at Exeter and Saarbrücken, Ross Biggam worked as Legal Adviser to the House of Lords EU Select Committee before joining ITV, the leading television channel in the UK, where he ended up as Head of European Affairs.

In April 2000, he moved to Brussels to become Director General of the Association of Commercial Television in Europe (ACT) which represents thirty media companies active in 34 European countries and encompasses several business models, from free-to-air television broadcasters to multimedia groups and digital TV platforms operators.

The ACT is consulted on a regular basis by the Community Institutions on all questions impacting on the future of the Audio-visual sector in Europe, in particular with regard to digital TV and the EU Directive ‘’Television without Frontiers’’.

Nikki Bentley

Nikki’s career has spanned continents and multiple broadcast disciplines. She started out in the South African film and television industry working on TV commercials before moving into content production, where she produced hundreds of hours of live entertainment for pan-African digital satellite service DSTV, and numerous long-form sponsored programmes which were distributed and broadcast globally.

Nikki moved to the UK and worked in sports marketing before joining creative agency BDA where she is now Business Director for branding and campaigns, leading the agency’s global branding activity and building their international client base.

Aleksandr Denisov

Aleksandr is responsible for TV-channel own production, negotiating with the administration of hockey leagues and companies producing sport TV content. He controls the acquisition of rights to broadcast games and other hockey content, and also to confirm program network channel.

Aleksandr has several higher educations and significant experience in TV field: he led sport projects at ‘INTER’ TV-channel and National Television Company of Ukraine, was General Producer of TV-channel ‘Megasport’, he was a Senior Producer at the international song competition ‘Eurovision’ in Kyiv, in 2005. Dmitri Lisitski

Position: Vice-president of internet business and new medi

Since August 2012 Dmitry joined UMH group as a Vice President of internet business and new media.

From June 2009 to August 2012 he worked at Group 1 +1 as Commercial Director. He was responsible for revenue of media resources of the Group.

Dmitri got master’s degree in applied mathematics at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and BA in Finance at the Institute of Management and Finance and London Business School.

He started his career as a media researcher, then as a media planner. Also he was engaged in new business in Publicis Groupe. In 2002-2004 he headed the media communications agency Starcom.

Professional experience of Dmitri is also linked to IT field. In 2009 Dmitri became president of association IT-Ukraine and has the status of mentor of incubator Growthup. He is a developer of innovative technology input on mobile devices Thickbuttons and founder of Startup Crash Test – an event where startups face reality.

As a part of Group 1+1 team, Dmitri was one of the developers of innovative for media market Internet application Redbutton which helps to calculate the budget and efficiency of advertising campaign.

 

Youri Hazanov

Company: Google/YouTube (France)

Position: Manager YouTube Russia & CIS

Youri manages the content strategy of YouTube in Russia, Ukraine and CIS countries.

He is responsible for negotiating complex content deals in the region, and bringing quality content from all verticals on the platform, including content from broadcasters, music labels but also sport organizations.

Prior to working for Google, Youri was in charge of Project Management at Digital Luxury Group.
