He was graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of the Lviv University with the PhD degree. In 1991, he began his career in journalism as the editor of the first independent Ukrainian radio station, Radio Nezalezhnist (Independence Radio). He worked in the press and on television. In 1994, he headed the press center of Tavriiski Ihry (Tavria Games) JSC, and was an unfailing host of the eponymous music festival. Since 2000, he has been a Director-President of ICTV channel. From November 2009 till March 2012, Olexandr Bohutskii worked as a Head of StarLightMedia Group. Oleksandr Tkachenko has been holding the position of the CEO in 1+1 Media since August 2008. Oleksandr graduated from the Journalism Department at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He started his professional career in 1988 as an editor and a host of the program “Molodizhna Studiya “GART” (“Youth Studio “GART”) on UT-1 TV channel. Eventually, he became a correspondent of the international news agency Reuters. In 1993, he created the television company “Nova Mova” (“New Language”), which produced the analytical program “Pisliamova” (“Afterward”) with him himself as a host. “Pisliamova” premiered on UT-1 in autumn 1994, and started to air on 1+1 TV channel in two years. During this period, Oleksandr headed the news service TSN and became the Deputy CEO of 1+1 TV channel. In 1998, Oleksandr left 1+1, focusing on developing of “Nova Mova.” During the year, the company produced the author’s program “Faces of the World” by Oleksandr Tkachenko for Inter TV channel. Among the program’s guests were the Dalai Lama, Pinochet, Jean Chrétien, Jacques Chirac and others. In 1999, Oleksander Tkachenko was at the head of Novy channel, which became one of the three market leaders by the time of 2000. He hosted the debate between Viktor Yushchenko and Viktor Yanukovych in the time of the presidential elections in 2004. In 2008, he worked in Moscow as the Deputy CEO of the REN-TV channel. He produced the films “House with a Turret,” “Vysotsky. Thank God I’m Alive,” “At the River”. Also, he was the producer of a lot of popular TV series, including “Milkmaid from Hatsapetovka,” “Tomorrow Will Be Tomorrow,” “Hope as Evidence of Life”, “Polka-Dot Sky”, “Shoot, Now”, “Soothsayer”, and many others. For several years, he hosted the author’s TV program “Tkachenko.UA” on 1+1 TV channel.

Yevgen Lyaschenko headed media holding Media Group Ukraine LLC in July 2014. Prior to that, he worked for two years as CFO Media Group Ukraine LLC. Yevgen Lyaschenko was appointed to the position of Financial Director of Media Group Ukraine in July 2012. Before joining the team of Media Group Ukraine LLC, Yevgen had been working in the financial and consulting industry for 16 years, 13 years of which at managerial positions. Claire has a wealth of experience in media research, having first joined Nielsen in Sydney in 1999 where she lead the team servicing the Metro TAM business for two years before moving to New Zealand where she was instrumental in winning the first joint industry TAM contract pitch. Claire was Managing Director of the NZ TAM business until 2012, when her role expanded to include the breath of Nielsen’s business in New Zealand – including Consumer Media Insights, AdIntel, TAM, radio, readership, online and a strong customised media solutions group. Claire relocated to Ireland in 2014, where she has been leading the Watch business for the last two years.
Yaroslav Pakholchuk has been holding the position of the Chief Financial Officer at 1+1 Media since April 2010 and the Chief Operating Officer since January 2013. He is responsible for managing the financial flows of the Group and financial planning. He graduated with honors from the Kyiv University of Economics receiving the Bachelor’s Degree in Economic Cybernetics and the Master’s Degree in Information Management. In 2006, he obtained the specialty in “Mathematical Modeling in Economics” at the same university. Currently, he is finishing studies at the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). Yaroslav is professionally experienced in various fields: media entertainment, oil and gas, retail and consumer products, and metallurgical industry. He worked as the Consultant for promotion of ERP systems at the Centre of Computer Technologies “InfoPlus.” From 2005 till 2008, he was responsible for formation, transformation and auditing of financial statements. From July 2009, he worked at the Central European Media Enterprises Group, Studio 1+1, first as the Planning, Analysis and Business Development Manager and later as the Deputy CFO.

Oleksandr graduated from Donetsk State Academy of Management. He joined the team of television channel “Ukraine” in 2001. Before that he was a presenter and editor at a radio station. In 2002, Oleksandr became the chief program editor at “Ukraine”, and since 2008 he has been the director of television channels “Football 1”/“Football 2.” During UEFA EURO 2012™, Oleksandr Denysov hosted talk show “Velykyi Football” on channel “Ukraine.” (the most popular TV project in Ukraine dedicated to EURO 2012, according to the ratings). In December 2011, Oleksandr Denysov received an honorary letter of commendation from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for substantial personal contribution in promotion of the physical culture and sports. In 2012, Oleksandr Denysov was awarded the title “Honored Journalist of Ukraine”. Andriy Malchevskyi has been holding the position of the Department’s Director since August 2014. Andriy has a considerable experience in developing and building broadcasting networks; he is an expert in the market’s specifics and nature and has a wide practice in project management and distribution of pay channels. He is a managing economist by profession. He graduated from the Kyiv Trade and Economic University. He started his professional television career in 2004 working for Novy Channel. In 2007, he participated in the start-up development and launch of MTV Ukraine channel. Later, he was at the head of the channel’s Development Department where he was responsible for increasing territory penetration and popularization. In 2008, Andriy joined Pershyi Avtomobilnyi (First Automobile) Channel that was on the stage of launching. He was in charge of improving the quality and increasing the technical coverage of the channel. In July 2009, he received an offer from Ukraina Media Group that just launched two football channels. For five years, he served as the Director of Broadcasting Network Distribution and Development Department where he was responsible for development of channels of advertising monetization and the Group’s entrance to the market of pay television.

She started her career as a reporter in television economic news, and then she held senior positions in media companies. Olena started her journalistic career in 1995 as a reporter at the independent production studio Dilovi Novyny (Business News) in Kharkiv. A year later she became a program editor, and then a co-owner. In 1999, she joined the corporate centre of the UMH Group in Kyiv where she was responsible for marketing and PR. Olena was in charge for development of new positioning and promotion of Telenedelya brand.
